China's innovative power shines 2014 NI LabVIEW global student design competition
September 2014 - National Instruments (Ni) officially announced the results of the 2014 global LabVIEW student design competition on September 11. After fierce competition, the two teams from Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University in China won the 2014 World's top ten college students' innovative works with their own creative entries. The two award-winning student teams were guided by Professor Wang Xue from the Department of fine instrument of Tsinghua University and teacher Ma Yongchang from Zhejiang University Instrument college
The NI LabVIEW global student design competition began in 2010 and is held annually by National Instruments Corporation (Ni). The event aims to provide a stage for the selection, exchange and display of cross-border innovative works for top innovative students who use graphical system design technology in different application fields around the world. It has become the most influential student graphical system design science and technology competition in the worldthis year's competition has attracted more than 3000 student teams from 25 countries around the world to participate. After strict screening by the selection team composed of global industry experts, it finally includes the University of North Carolina in the United States, the Federal Institute of technology in Zurich, Switzerland, the Korean Academy of science and technology, Tsinghua University in China for desertification control, slope ecological protection, soil erosion prevention and other fields The innovative works of ten teams, including Zhejiang University of China, stood out from many competitors. While receiving the most valuable student innovation awards in the industry, they were also invited to further demonstrate the outstanding talents of the new generation of global innovation forces at the 20th niweek global graphical system design conference held in Austin, USA, in August this year
Mr. nibin, the marketing manager of Ni Chinese universities, revealed that as an important part of the Ni University plan, Ni has long been committed to providing a broad stage for future engineers who pursue innovative practices in the ivory tower to challenge themselves. For many years, Ni has regularly held many practical innovation competitions for college engineering students in China, including the national virtual instrument competition, the Ni graduate design competition, the World Congress, and so on, and annually selected and funded the outstanding people who emerged to participate in the world's top university student innovation competition projects on behalf of China. We are delighted to see that in recent years, on the global student innovation exchange platform, Chinese students have shown their world-class skills and their graphic system design and innovative application ability to surpass other countries in the future industry. Ni is very willing to continue to invest, cooperate with various parties to open up a green channel for students from theory to practice, and effectively help the cultivation of innovative and applied engineering talents in China, Ni Bin said in an interview
it is reported that as a world-renowned technology company that first carried out college programs in China, Ni's in-depth support and achievements in China's engineering education for more than a decade have always been the focus of the industry. The core of the whole Ni college plan is to lead engineering students to truly realize the concept from theory to practice, and to adhere to the value of taking students' harvest as the ultimate goal
of course, exploring the cultivation of innovative talents is a major topic in China's engineering education at present. It is believed that the benefit and enlightening effect of the enterprise college support plan represented by Ni on the reform of China's engineering talent discovery and training mechanism is worth thinking about in the industry that the linearity of sensor components has reached a very high level
